The Victorian Hotel ("we", "us"), managed by Essential Hotel Group, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through thevictorianhotelcr.com and how we use it, in line with Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Persons in the Processing of their Personal Data.
Information we collect
- Booking and contact forms: your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, travel dates, number of guests, room preference, reason for travel and any message you send. Form submissions are delivered to our email through Web3Forms, a form-processing service.
- Online reservations: bookings made through the "Book Direct" button are processed by Cloudbeds, our reservation system, under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp: if you contact us via WhatsApp, your conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics: we may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, device type, approximate location). This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information you send only to answer your inquiry, prepare your reservation and provide the services you request, such as tours and transfers. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and reservation information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@thevictorianhotelcr.com.
